SIL is a NDIS funded support that provides help and/ or supervision of daily tasks to help you live as independently as possible, while building your skills.  SIL is the care provided within in a home – usually in a home you share with other NDIS participants. When living in a SIL with other participants, we provide the care and you parents continue to be your parents. SILs are normally trusted to provide your care from late afternoon through to the next morning, when you might then attend work or a day program. SIL supports also include weekend care. We take care of organising doctors appointments, shopping meal preparation and all your other day. SIL can be designed around YOU and your needs.
